As an Inhabitat of a city is always hard to find a piece of a peaceful place and from my point of view the best place where must have to start in any city that you have been in it is parks I mean green areas luckily in my travels around Mexico and Latinamerica I find a bunch of them some a little old but with good conditions of maintenance other ones more news and super cleans with a high tech public lighting.
In the case of CDMX seems like the governor has a plan to develop green infrastructure around marginal areas yet rich neighborhoods and I agree with the plan because at the end of the day's cities are built in order to content and pleased the population. Because who wants to live in a place that makes feeling you inside the prison? Green areas and parks also bring astonishing views maybe don´t solve poverty but are crucial to someone on a bad day and feeding your vulnerable soul.
