Between Cyberpunk and Harry Potter aesthetics (Vasconcelos Library)

The best part of living in a cosmopolite and huge city is space diversity not only in a public or private neighborhood but in general the purpose is building space in where the inhabitants can live, spend time, enjoy the landscape and more important feel disconnect of stress and noise like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Better if those places are designing with imagination or the architect is a big fan of cyberpunk, no many places in the earth would say about that.

Well, in Fact, Mexico city has some interesting spots with historic styles of architecture, but only one of them was planing with the purpose of delight people with the aesthetic atmosphere and that place is Vasconcelos library, why? well because in general, the structure plays with natural light, spaces as the same way of the art in cyberpunk movies or tv series. What is more, many guests said that in the moment of walking indoors and see the whale skeleton suspended in the middle of the principal aisle they imagine staying in Hogwarts.

This astonishes and the unrealistic place is located next to the Suburban train and  Buenavista Subway station in the north of Mexico City. apart from a huge range of books and magazines that you can look up, inside, there is a gallery in which time to time changes the exposition and the theme about it. In addition there a photocopy spot and computer room, although other visitors prefer other facilities, you will find a garden with wi-fi access.
